Partnership with CataBoom makes way for sweepstakes prizes
San Francisco, CA – November 04, 2013
San Francisco-based social and mobile gaming company, Ruby Seven Studios, announced today official partnership with Dallas, TX sweepstakes marketing provider, CataBoom. CataBoom (an SCA Promotions subsidiary) enables game developers to offer players as much as $1 million in sweepstakes prizes. Ruby Seven’s promotions will commence with an initial sweepstakes prize of $5,000, with more enticing chances to win coming soon.
As the social and mobile gaming market becomes increasingly saturated, social casino game developers are taking cues from the land based casino industry for best practices in capturing new audiences. Ruby Seven joins trendsetters like RealNetworks, who earlier this year became the first social casino game developer to offer monthly sweepstakes prizes on Facebook, in selected US states.
Tony Ebert, President, CataBoom:
“Since it is all about influencing player behavior, CataBoom will allow games to rise above the competition and become a fully integrated marketing campaign.”
Through partnership with CataBoom, Ruby Seven will offer sweepstakes prizes in their social and mobile games in selected states across the US. With initial implementation in video poker title Video Poker with Pirates, Ruby Seven sees immense opportunity for growth in player engagement following launch across a portfolio of over 20 live games. In addition to being a proven marketing tool, the value-add of sweepstakes for Ruby Seven is the ability to provide social casino players with new wins and social fun.
Michael Carpenter, CEO, Ruby Seven Studios:
“This partnership with CataBoom enables us to innovate exciting wins in our social casino games. Through CataBoom sweepstakes, we can offer our players that enticing chance to win sweepstakes prizes, coupled with a great social gaming experience.”
Partnership with CataBoom is part of Ruby Seven’s strategic initiative to bridge land based casino industry philosophies with social games industry ventures. In May, Ruby Seven announced partnership with land based casino game design studio Bluhare Studios. Together the two studios released TimeQuest Slots (Facebook, iOS, Android, Amazon), a time-travelling slots adventure. Looking to future endeavors, Ruby Seven is excited for the opportunity offered by new relationships in the social casino space.
